Lapo Lounge was created by co-founders and entrepreneurs, Opal Stewart and Maxim Skornyakov. They met while studying Business Management at St. John's University in NYC and after working in the fashion, and digital marketing spaces for 10+ years, the couple decided to leverage their professional experiences and pursue their combined passions for entrepreneurship. This marked the genesis of Lapo Lounge. They launched the brand out of their NYC apartment in 2019 offering hair accessories and have since expanded into chain belts, bag chains, and necklaces.
